Rich history together in one piece! The aqua blue “L” known to be manufactured during the mid-20th century, Lake Champlain’s shoreline transformed into a destination for travelers, resorts, and leisure. This decorative aqua glass fragment comes from a men’s grooming bottle—once filled with cologne or aftershave—designed to feel modern, clean, and refreshing. Its molded ribs reflect the Art Deco influence of the 1930s and 40s. After breaking and being discarded, the glass spent decades beneath the lake, where water and time reshaped it into a smooth, sculptural relic of personal history.
*Note: because red sea glass is so extremely rare, I’ve only found about 10 pieces out of the thousands I’ve collected, so I enhance the color within a piece of clear, genuine sea glass.
